ARE YOU A LICENSED CPA?
No, but we will work with your CPA to ensure your chart of accounts and financial organization is to their standards.
HOW MUCH DO SERVICES COST?
We offer two distinct services. The first is a start-up package for a new business, or a major business upgrade. The second is a monthly subscription at one of two levels. After our discovery call, you will receive a custom quote. See specific package pricing for further details.
WHAT IS MY (BUSINESS OWNER) OBLIGATION TO FORESEEN SAGE?
We do require that all transactions include a receipt. Details can be discussed based on what works best for both parties. Foreseen Sage reserves the right to cancel service at any time if receipts are not being provided. We are in the business of good bookkeeping, and receipts are the backbone of that.
DOES IT MATTER WHERE MY BUSINESS IS LOCATED?
No! With Quickbooks Online, our services are 100% remote. All communication and meetings can be conducted via email, phone, and video calls. It is important to note that we only work with U.S. based companies, based on our knowledge and comfortability.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU USE?
We work exclusively with Quickbooks Online. You will need a Quickbooks Online account as a requirement for our services. We will operate with integrated third-party systems within reason; the details of which can be specified during our discovery call, as well as within your contract.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
We do require a signed contract, but only month-to-month, never long term. If you are interested in the GURU package, there is a one-time contract, valid for 90 days.
WHAT IS BOOKKEEPING?
Bookkeeping revolves around a constant, clear insight into your business’ financial health. By understanding all the numbers., you can make educated business decisions and projections. Bookkeeping is a routine of properly categorizing transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts receivable/payable.
DO YOU OFFER TAX PREPARATION SERVICES?
At this time we do not prepare annual tax returns, but everyday with Foreseen Sage is tax preparation. We do provide your CPA with all requested end-of-year financial documents.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
The price does not provide any third-party fees, license filing fees, state or federal taxes, or state or federal tax return preparation or filling. Please consult with your CPA. You will also be responsible for any software fees.
DOES IT MATTER WHAT INDUSTRY I AM IN?
At present, we are accepting new small business clients in all industries. Our speciality fields are Construction, Home Design, Education, Non-Profits, and Tattoo Shops. If you are interested, please fill out our contact form and we will decide if we are the right fit for you.
I HAVEN’T KEPT UP ON MY BOOKS. CAN YOU HELP?
Sure thing! Our ability to cleanup will be discussed in detail after our discovery call. Most of our new clients will require minor cleanup (included in all packages).
I WANT TO DO MY OWN BOOKKEEPING. CAN YOU TEACH ME?
The GURU package includes processes designed for someone else to take over. If your wish is to continue on by yourself, or hire an on-staff bookkeeper, we do not teach, but we are more than happy for you to utilize the step-by-step processes on your own.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If for any reason, you feel that our service is not to your standards, cancellation is available within reason. Bookkeeping is about trust and communication. As a fellow small business, we understand the importance of a mutually beneficial and confident client relationship. We also reserve the right to cancel service at any time, for any reason.
WHEN SHOULD I HIRE A BOOKKEEPER?
As soon as you are financially able to. It may seem like a luxury, but tracking your income and expenses is essential to the growth of your business. Many business owners began to seek outside help when the burden of bookkeeping became too time-consuming, and their time could be better spent elsewhere.
